The Blackpool Lead's third newspaper is out now - where you can pick up a copy
There's thousands of copies going through doors but you can also pick up the third edition in a supermarket near you
We’re approaching a year of our commitment to cover Blackpool and we’re back in print just before Christmas.
A special edition of The Blackpool Lead focused on the housing crisis is dropping onto doorsteps this week and into supermarkets too during Wednesday 18 December.
We’re determined to ensure our stories are read by as many people as possible and build a community of people who want to see the issues in Blackpool dug deeply into.
In this edition there’s our extensive reporting on the Multiversity public inquiry, the state of the seas around Blackpool, whether an arena is the future for Blackpool Central’s currently stalled site and an in-depth look at how the housing crisis can be tackled in Blackpool, across the North and UK-wide.
Contributors include Michael Holmes, Zoë Grünewald, Kevin Gopal, Hannah Fearn and Fergal Kinney.
Luke Beardsworth, senior editor for The Lead (North): “From a Blackpool arena, to the Multiversity project and the housing crisis, this edition of The Blackpool Lead is full of news and features that are brought you exclusively from our team.
“We are grateful to Cosy Homes in Lancashire for their support to bring you the third print edition of The Blackpool Lead and their backing for investigative journalism. ”
